Part of Global Solutions division, The Critical Infrastructure Business Area is known under the brand ALCEA, leveraging multiple products across ASSA ABLOY such as ABLOY hardware for example to build its solution. ALCEA is a security technology company specializing in critical infrastructure protection, providing integrated solutions that secure high‑risk, complex, and distributed environments. Its capabilities includes hardware, software, and services designed to protect essential sectors such as energy, water, telecom, transportation, mining, and oil & gas. ALCEA Global Solutions Critical Infrastructure busisness area operates globally.
Your Role in Keeping the Future in Safe Hands…
As the Senior Vice President and Head of Critical Infrastructure for the Global solutions division of ASSA ABLOY, you will have the opportunity to strategically lead, execute and manage the CI vertical business area, defining strategy, driving growth, optimising operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Reporting to Executive Vice President and Head of Global Solutions and as a member of the executive leadership team you will also collaborate closely with other senior leaders to contribute to the overall divisional strategy and growth of the organisation, with a specific focus on scaling the BA globally and driving business performance.
What you will do…
- Be responsible for the full P&L end to end including sales, R&D, operations and all functions related to the P&L
- Develop and execute business strategies driving growth, profitability, and market share. Delivering operational excellence, product innovation and optimizing costs.
- Collaborate with the EVP and Head of Global Solutions, and other executives to align business objectives to deliver on the strategic plan for the entire division.
- Identify new market opportunities, develop partnerships, and assess risk factors to enhance the competitive position.
- Drive revenue growth organically and through M&A by creating and implementing high-impact sales and marketing strategies, whilst monitoring market trends and competitor activities to continuously adapt business strategies.
- Foster a culture of innovation and creativity with new product launches and relevant business models so that ASSA ABLOY can continue to deliver excellent customer experience and remain ahead of competitors
- Drive commercial excellence, exploiting the latest pricing, sales and marketing processes and techniques to deliver profitable and sustainable growth
- Manage forecast costs and cash flow, ensuring financial performance aligns with company objectives. Driving cost-efficiency initiatives through resource optimization and effective third party negotiations.
- Lead and inspire high-performing teams, creating an environment of initiative, courage, and collaboration, whilst also driving organizational development, including active talent management and succession planning.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders, ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any issues or opportunities promptly.
- Relentlessly create, improve, and promote safe working environments for our employees and stakeholders
- Lead in Critical Infrastructure- by delivering tailored, interoperable and resilient security solutions which creates value for our customers.
What we expect of you…
- Ideally Academic degree in bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Marketing, or related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
- Ideally 10 or more years’ experience in a comparable successful leadership position managing a full P&L. This should be within a complex Technology Solutions industry, in an international environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Fluent in English.
- Competent and confident leader who leads by example, with the ability to motivate and inspire others, make tough decisions, and navigate complex situations, is crucial.
- Proven stakeholders’ management abilities, with a clear executive stature, to be able to represent the Company effectively with major acquisition targets and external organizations.
- Analytical approach, with a strong business acumen, and all-round business executive characteristics.
- Excellent customer and quality orientation, as well as emphasis on continuous improvement is a must and you should be equipped with impeccable planning, prioritisation, and problem-solving capabilities.
