What you would do as our Account Manager – Custodial

Our key cabinets & locker solutions help all types of organizations better control their important assets, improving productivity & accountability, and reducing risk in critical processes.
As a Traka Account Manager, specializing in the custodial sector, you will manage custodial accounts through regular site visits and close customer engagement. You will build strong relationships, act as a point of contact, and identify opportunities that deliver value for both the customer and Traka. Account Managers act as client ambassadors and work with internal departments to ensure that client needs are understood and satisfied.
You will report to your line manager responsible for the sector as a whole, and provide continued support to them as required.
You would also:
• Undertake regular customer visits to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships, providing support, guidance and training where necessary and act as a point of contact for custodial accounts, ensuring clear communication and efficient resolution of customer requirements, in accordance with line manager direction and support.
• Conduct regular health check reviews to demonstrate value, ensure solution continues to meet customer need, and identify potential growth and deliver technical guidance working with key stakeholders to ensure customer expectations are achieved in line with solution.
• Assist the project management team in the delivery of custodial projects, providing on-site knowledge and leveraging customer contacts to ensure smooth deployment.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure consistent, high quality service delivery for all customers.
• Represent Traka as a brand ambassador, promoting the company’s values and maintaining a professional reputation in all customer interactions and maintain accurate and up to date records within the CRM system to assist efficient account management and reporting.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
• Has strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage confidently at all levels and has experience of working within SLAs and KPIs.
• Has a good level of technical competence with 3rd party software platforms and can provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating the ability to exceed customer expectations and a passion for excellence.
• Has strong commercial awareness with the ability to recognize new business opportunities and has experience of working within the custodial sector, or a clear understanding of its operational environment is highly desirable.
• Is proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems, with a working knowledge of databases and the ability to use IT tools confidently in a customer environment.
• Has flexibility to travel extensively across the UK, including regular overnight stays and overseas where required.
