Commercial Account Manager
Can you bring your customer centric approach to our Commercial Account Management team based in Carlisle UK, where you can enjoy a collaborative culture that empowers you to build a career you can be proud of.
What you would do as our Commercial Account Manager
As our Commercial Account Manager, you will drive category growth and commercial performance across key merchant and retail accounts through strategic account management, data-driven decision making, and effective cross-functional collaboration.
You will be responsible for delivering best-in-class product content, optimising digital merchandising, and ensuring that customer ranges, pricing, and product information are fully aligned with commercial objectives. You would also:
• Lead category strategy, product development collaboration, and compliance to deliver competitive and commercially successful ranges.
• Manage key customer accounts, driving sales, profitability, and long-term strategic relationships.
• Analyse performance data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities, providing actionable insights.
• Oversee digital merchandising and product data to ensure accurate, high-quality, and optimised customer listings.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support operations, improve processes, and strengthen customer engagement through proactive communication.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who has:
• Commercial experience in retail, merchant, or B2B environments, with strong business understanding.
• Ability to analyse data, identify opportunities, and turn insights into actionable plans.
• Experience managing complex accounts and building strong senior stakeholder relationships.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced settings.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and MS Office skills (especially Excel), with additional industry qualifications desirable.
