About the Role
This role exists to improve installation quality, reduce warranty-related issues and strengthen relationships with installers across the Auckland region. You'll provide a combination of technical field support and hands-on training, helping customers and installers achieve the best outcomes from our products.
Working closely with Product Management, Technical teams, Sales, Customer Service and Product Development, you'll use your field experience and problem-solving skills to identify root causes, provide practical solutions and share valuable feedback that supports continuous improvement.
Success in this role comes from building credibility with installers, resolving technical issues efficiently and helping elevate installation standards across the market.
What you'll be responsible for
You'll play an important role in supporting product performance, installer capability and customer satisfaction by:

Conducting on-site warranty assessments and replacement activities across the Auckland region.

Investigating product performance concerns to determine installation, environmental or product-related causes.

Delivering practical training sessions, demonstrations and technical guidance to installers.

Providing expert support to customers and internal teams on installation techniques, adjustments and troubleshooting.

Identifying trends in warranty claims and escalating recurring issues to support corrective action.

Contributing to product development and improvement initiatives by reporting practical field insights.

Supporting the creation and enhancement of installation guides, training materials and technical resources.

Maintaining accurate training, warranty and field service records to support reporting and continuous improvement.
About You
You're someone who enjoys understanding how things work and takes pride in finding practical solutions. You enjoy being out in the field, learning from real-world situations and helping others improve their skills and knowledge.

To be successful, you'll bring:

Experience in a technical, trade, hardware, construction, joinery or related environment.

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills in real-world installation or product environments.

Experience investigating and diagnosing technical or installation-related issues.

Confidence delivering training, demonstrations, toolbox talks or technical guidance.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

Experience building relationships with customers, installers, tradespeople or technical stakeholders.

Good record-keeping and reporting skills with attention to detail.

A proactive approach and commitment to quality, safety and customer service.
