We are looking for a Senior Process Operative to join our growing team in Malta:

 

To operate Identity machines in shop floor area safely and timely in such a way that customer delivery dates are met. Also, ensure guillotine output is maximised and quality standards including cut registration adherence are maintained across the process and individual guillotines whilst adhering to health and safety regulations.

As our Senior Process Operative, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

 

  • Understanding the master production schedule for Identity and operate the machines to ensure daily targets are exceeded.
  • Training new machine operators / Assistants to work safely and with budgeted efficiency.
  • Planning and executing daily maintenance activities on the machines to sustain machine reliability.
  • Understanding customer requirements as detailed in factory work instructions.
  • Requesting for Identity components from materials control on a timely basis.
  • Updating daily dockets to indicate quantities produced and at what efficiency.
  • Ensuring batch control procedures are followed when operating the machines to ensure correct quantities are issued throughout the finishing processes.
  • Performing any other task as assigned by the process leader and FLM.
  • Providing leadership for other team members on the machines.
  • Performing online checks on the product to ensure quality standards are not compromised.
  • Performing any other duty as assigned from time to time by the process leader and FLM.
  • Operating on Folder and Guillotine machine 

 

Your Experience and Background include:  

 

  • Technical mastery – knowledge of current processes / technologies and ability to acquire new skills fast.
  • Team player / collaboration – ability to work effectively with other people.
  • Capacity building – ability to transfer acquired skills to other team members.
  • Education / professional experience – certificate / diploma in engineering / production management / print technology.
  • Work experience – at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
