The HR Manager will provide complete HR generalist service to the business, taking responsibility for day-to-day issues and supporting annual HR processes.

As our HR Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by:
- Supporting managers in the implementation and application of HR procedures such as disciplinary and grievance, performance management, absence management, etc.
- Liaising with HSSE Manager to ensure health related risks are minimised to the business.
- Managing recruitment activity, working closely with managers and third parties.
- Supporting employee relations issues, escalating as appropriate.
- Supporting with the identification of development needs.
- Supporting and championing HR cycle processes, e.g. Merit, Talent Review, contributing to continual improvement of all HR processes.
- Supporting reward activity e.g. Job Evaluation, Recognition and HR Systems.
- Supporting a culture of employee engagement in line with the HR strategy, assisting activities such as Employee Survey action planning.
- Supporting internal communication messaging, ensuring it is tailored to team requirements.

- Possess good written and verbal communication skills with ability to maintain confidentiality at the highest level in order to develop stakeholder relationships.
- Have good understanding of relevant employment legislation.
- Be able to manage change with drive for continuous improvement.
- Be organised with the ability to manage and prioritise a challenging and busy workplace.
Your Experience and Education include:
- Have a Degree level education or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
