What you would do as our Senior Accountant:
As our Senior Accountant, you would:
• Be responsible for all dimensions of accounting. Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Payroll accounting, Project accounting, revenue recognition, fixed assets, taxes etc.
• Ensure that at each month-end we comply with both statutory and group accounting requirements. (Monthly & yearly closings).
• Prepare and submit all required external reporting requirements e.g. VAT, IC, Intrastat etc.
• Assist with internal/external audits, annual accounts, income tax etc.
• Be responsible for the internal and external communication with the Stakeholders mainly in Dutch and English.
You would also:
• Preparing all internal reporting requirements in HFM and intercompany reconciliations.
• During your accounting activities you will either proactively and/or will be asked to analyze business transactions to provide additional insights.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who has:
• Experience in working in an international company, preferably B2B company and with exposure to physical inventory and a highly driven project-based revenue recognition.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, communicative level of French language. German might be a plus.
• Highly experience in ERP master.
• A know-how of Belgian GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with BI tool solutions and excellent knowledge in MS Excel.
• Brings high level of intrinsic motivation and self-reliance.
• A structured analytical mindset which is allowing you to analyze and oversee end to end processes, identify eventual gaps or errors, suggest amendments. Our senior accountant can reconcile VAT statements with our revenue easily.
• The ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
