.NET Software Engineer

What you would do as our .NET Software Engineer
ASSA ABLOY SKIDATA is now building a new Team of Engineers and we are now on a lookout for .NET Software Engineers, who will strengthen our R&D Innovation Hub based in Zabierzów. There is an option to use our Kraków office as well, with the main office remaining Innovation Hub in Zabierzów.
As a .NET Software Enginee, you will be supporting ASSA ABLOY SKIDATA access management solutions product portfolio. The key focus areas of the role are re-writing, refactoring, and modernizing our legacy code, created in .NET framework and C++. The goal for this Team is to update the code with modern architecture using clean code and SOLID design principles.
Within this role, you will work together with creative, curious and competent engineers who create the next generation access control solutions.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
- Has demonstrated experience with .NET framework and .NET core, Refactorings, Clean Code, SOLID Design, MS SQL, Visual Studio/MS Build/Gitlab, RabbitMQ, Docker.
- Has some previous experience in testing with NUnit or XUnit.
- Is able to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
- Is available to work in a hybrid setup - 2 days in our Innovation Hub office in Zabierzów or in our Kraków office.
It would be beneficial for you to have experience with Object-Relational Mappers (ORM) like NHibernate, Entity Framework; Event Driven Architecture, Message Brokers, and C++. As the Team cooperates with our Colleagues based in Austria, any knowledge of German (spoken or written) would be valuable, but is not required.
