Are you a student eager to dive into the world of hardware testing and automation? Do you have a passion for building electronics and experimenting with DIY projects? If so, maybe this position as Test Systems Engineering Intern is for you! Join our cross-site Group CTO Organisation in Kraków and enjoy a collaborative culture that empowers you to build a career you can be proud of.

What you will be doing

During your internship, you will work closely with our engineers and have the opportunity to learn from highly qualified staff by supporting them in all aspects of test equipment development, primarily focusing on electro-mechanical lock testing.

You will be involved in building and maintaining complex test stations used for quality assurance of our cutting-edge lock systems. This role includes working with:

  • Robotic arms
  • Barcode scanners
  • Power supplies
  • Measurement equipment

Additionally, you will work on coding scripts in Python to automate test sequences and integrate these systems with our Continuous Integration (CI) environment.

Why DIY electronics experience matters

This role requires a solid foundation in electronics and mechanical systems. Experience with DIY electronics projects or involvement in hardware tinkering will be highly beneficial, as you will often need to design, assemble, and modify testing stations using custom components. Your hands-on skills and creativity will be crucial for building reliable test setups to evaluate our electro-mechanical products.

Your profile

  • Availability to work a minimum of 3 days a week
  • Very good English, both written and spoken, as you will be working in a multinational environment
  • Student of Information Technology, Automatic Control and Robotics, Electronics and Telecommunications, Mechatronics, or related fields
  • Practical experience with DIY electronics, hardware prototyping, or similar projects
  • Coding skills with Python
  • Familiarity with measurement equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, or signal generators is a plus
  • Motivation to integrate hardware systems with software automation and CI frameworks

We want the internship to align with your chosen direction of development, interest, and passion. We will be very interested in your private or university projects, especially those that showcase your experience in building and troubleshooting DIY electronic setups, which you can present to us during the interview.
