Senior Software and Test Engineer with experience supporting software QA for internal applications and solutions distributed worldwide across numerous production sites.
This position is for a hands-on engineer that will be a member of a global and distributed development team that focuses on industrial solutions targeting issuance and provisioning. The candidate will report to a local Solution QA Manager and part of a team dedicated to QA.

As our Senior Software and Test Engineer you’ll support HID’s success by:
- Contributing to the whole software test lifecycle – review requirements, design, develop and maintain test scripts (automated and manual), document test results, report defects
- Help to improve and maintain test framework
- In accordance with the Solution QA Manager, triage and prioritize all issues and follow thru on their remediation. Interface with HID’s application support resources for issue handling and resolution
- Working closely with the project teams on identifying, reproducing and resolving software problems
- Assess Solutions quality and insure that all major bugs are remediated before the tools are released to their consumers.
- Contributing to standards and processes to continuously improve team practices

Your Experience and Education include:
- At least 2+ years of experience in software testing
- Should have experience on testing portals, web based and client applications. Knowledge about mobile applications testing will be a plus
- Should have experience with requirements documentations, bug tracking systems, version control systems and CI/CD
- Should have an experience in Python or any other object oriented programming language
- Should be fast learning innovative and persistent person with wide interest in software testing and QA
- Should have some basic knowledge about Agile/Scrum
- Basic skills in databases and cloud technologies a plus
