As our Senior Firmware Engineer you’ll support HID’s success by: 

  • Working with project team members in Krakow and other geographic locations, you will be supporting a lot of important topics within the company
  • Development of HID PACS products – RevE and RevF readers
  • Writing code in C and C#
  • Debugging issues
  • Design Documentation


Your Qualifications and Experience include: 


  • Bachelor's/Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related
  • Several years of hands-on embedded development experience
  • Applied experience with embedded C
  • Applied experience with embedded bare metal and RTOS applications
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills


What we will love about your background: 

  • C# knowledge as an advantage
  • Development experience with object-oriented programming in as an advantage
  • Experience with implementation of security protocols and secure implementation of cryptographic techniques as an advantage
  • Comfortable at working at low level (e.g. GPIO, UART, SPI, I2C)
  • Working knowledge of one or more communication protocols (e.g. USB, Ethernet, SPI, I2C)
  • Working knowledge of source code management and configuration (git, mercurial)
  • Ability to work effectively with legacy code
  • Actively contribute to team's continuous improvement
  • Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision
