As our Product Manager you’ll support HID’s success by:
- Driving the EAT RFID Mobile Credential Product Portfolio in close collaboration with our Business Areas Physical Access and Identification Technologies
- Closely collaborating with the Physical Access Team to implement the needs of EAT RFID
- Enable the EAT RFID Readers & Tools Portfolio to support our Mobile Credential Offering
- Understanding customer and stakeholder needs and translate into Features & EPICs
- Driving the related EPICs & Features following Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Creating, Managing, and prioritizing assigned EPICs and Feature Backlog(s)
- Managing the entire product lifecycle of the EAT RFID Mobile Credential Product Portfolio, from conceptualization through EOL. This includes setting up and maintaining part numbers, pricing, and product data
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive product documentation such as datasheets and how-to-order guides (HTOGs). Ensure that these materials are accurate, up-to-date, and effectively communicate the value proposition of our products to both internal stakeholders and external customers
- Maintaining the Developer Portal, ensuring that it provides useful, accessible information to our developer community. Regularly update the portal with the latest product information, developer guides, FAQs, and other relevant resources
- Coordinating with our marketing and communications teams to ensure consistent, effective communication about our products. This includes involvement in product launches, sales training, customer presentations, and other product-related communications
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that product information is accurate and up-to-date across all systems and platforms
- Managing business owner and stakeholder expectations including timelines, deliverables, and milestones
- Providing and contributing to Management Information reporting and project status metrics and dashboards
What we will love about your background:
- Knowledge and experience in Software and Agile Methodologies (Scrum, SAFe®, Kanban, Lean, DevOps etc.)
- Ability to lead a team of professionals through the product development and introduction cycle
- Good interpersonal communication skills, good team spirit and adaptability
- Able to work autonomously but also operate as part of a strong, cohesive team
- Ability to effectively communicate in English language, both verbally and in writing
Your Experience and Education include:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering with a background in software, firmware and/or hardware. Alternatively related field, or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience
- 5+ years’ experience as a product manager or product owner in delivering and deploying mobile products or solutions
- Knowledge of Mobile Credentials, Cloud Services like HID Origo, embedded systems, cryptography and security practices
- SAFe® Product Owner/Product Manager (SAFe® PMPO) certificate is an advantage
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer centric approach
- Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Familiar with Mobile operating systems Android and/or iOS
- Fluent in Agile Tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, Miro)
