DevOps Intern for IoT Platform
What you will be doing
As a DevOps Intern, you will be part of our Operations and Support Team and contribute to the quality of our IoT-enabled wireless lock platform across its firmware, mobile, and cloud components. Working closely with our engineers, you will have the opportunity to learn from highly qualified staff while supporting them in:
- Assisting in the management and improvement of the CI (Continuous Integration) and CD (Continuous Deployment) processes for both firmware and mobile components of the platform, mostly using GitLab CI
- Working with modern DevOps tools and technologies such as Ansible, Kubernetes, and Docker for infrastructure provisioning and management
- Utilizing scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or similar languages to automate tasks and streamline processes
- Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth integration, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of the platform
- Helping build, maintain, and troubleshoot test stations used for end-to-end and hardware-in-the-loop testing
- Running exploratory testing on new test setups and clearly reporting findings
Your profile
- A student of Information Technology, Computer Science, Automatic Control and Robotics, Electronics and Telecommunications, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Python scripting skills
- Familiarity with CI systems such as GitLab CI or Jenkins
- Comfortable in a Linux/Bash environment
- Basics of Docker and cloud platforms (AWS)
- Very good English, both written and spoken, as you will work in a multinational environment
- Fluent in Polish - must have
- Availability to work a minimum of 3 days a week in the office
- A future-oriented and strong engineering mindset
Nice to have:
- Practical experience with DIY electronics, hardware prototyping, or similar projects
- Interest in IoT and embedded systems
