DevOps Intern

What you will be doing 

As a DevOps Intern, you will be part of our DevOps team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our IoT-enabled wireless lock platform. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the management and improvement of the CI (Continuous Integration) and CD (Continuous Deployment) processes for both firmware and mobile components of the platform, mostly using GitLab CI
• Working with modern DevOps tools and technologies such as Ansible, Kubernetes, and Docker for infrastructure provisioning and management
• Utilizing scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or similar languages to automate tasks and streamline processes
• Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth integration, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of the platform
• Assisting with hardware-related tasks in the lab, such as setting up test stations and troubleshooting

As an integral member of the team, you will actively participate in Agile activities, including stand-ups, refinement sessions, retrospectives, and demo meetings

What we are looking for 

• A student who is passionate about pursuing a career in IT, with a particular interest in DevOps and IoT development
• Familiarity with CI Systems such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Familiarity with modern DevOps tools and technologies such as Ansible, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or similar languages to automate tasks and streamline processes
• Enthusiasm for learning and exploring various aspects of DevOps, with a focus on security
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms and services, such as AWS or Azure, is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English to collaborate effectively with team members
• A future-oriented mindset and willingness to potentially continue as an employee with our organization
