Dock Service Technician
Are you a fabricator with a passion for troubleshooting and maintenance? We’re seeking a Technician to join our team and play a vital role in installing, servicing, and maintaining dock levellers and loading bay equipment.
What you’ll be doing
- Install, maintain, and repair dock levellers and industrial door solutions.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
- Carry out preventative maintenance to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment.
- Work closely with warehouse staff and contractors to minimise downtime.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in line with WHS/OHS standards.
What we’re looking for
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in hydraulics, electrics, or fitting.
- Welding or fabrication skills.
- Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Safety-focused with knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures.
- A problem-solver who can work both independently and in a team.
Desirable but not essential
- Trade qualification (mechanical, electrical, or fitting)
- Forklift licence and experience working in warehouse environments.
- White Card and Working at Heights training.
