HID’s InvoTech Product Development Team:

InvoTech, part of HID, increases profitability for clients. We are a leading provider of software management and control systems for uniforms, linens, and laundry. You will be working with InvoTech's software development team in Woodland Hills, CA, as well as HID's software development team in the South of France. There are 6 existing uniform, linen, and laundry products from each side of the Atlantic to learn and develop test plans for. For future projects, we are currently designing an integrated uniform and linen product on the AWS cloud platform which expands all the capabilities of our existing uniform and linen products. This position provides the unique opportunity to build and shape the QA testing unit and methodology from the ground up!


This is a hybrid position; the candidate should be located in the Southern California area for accessibility to our Woodland Hills office for monthly visits as necessary.


As our Q&A Engineer, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

  • Testing our software and hardware solutions for field reliability and stability
  • Documenting test results thru test reports, documentation, and bug tracking software
  • Developing and modifying test plans and technical documentation to keep pace with software features offered and an ever-changing technological platform
  • Assisting the help desk with resolution of software, database, or equipment-based issues


What we will love about your background:

Your Experience and Education include:             

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred; candidates with equivalent education, plus relevant work experience may also be considered.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Q&A on large scale cloud-based applications 
      • Development of test cases and automated test cases
      • Q&A – unit testing
      • SQL, advanced query writing
      • Defect logging with CRM or other bug tracking system
      • Cloud product testing
