Accounting Manager

Nomadix® Inc. is excited to announce its search for an Accounting Manager reporting to the Group Controller.
We have been serving the Hospitality technology market for over 25 years and have a global reputation for delivering powerful and personalized connectivity and digital engagement solutions designed with real people in mind. In addition to Hospitality, we also offer managed Wi-Fi services to multi-tenant/multi-dwelling properties and are moving into adjacent markets.
In April 2024, we joined the ASSA ABLOY Hospitality group (Vingcard), an industry leader in the locks business, servicing Hospitality and other adjacent industries, further strengthening our footprint in the Hospitality space.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Accounting Manager is responsible for preparing month-end close procedures for several related entities, including financial statement reporting. This position will also review balance sheet reconciliations and financial reports prepared by others. The Accounting Manager is responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, including assisting with system implementation, cash management, tax support, audit support, and accounting-related matters that arise from Staff or cross-functional teams.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The individual in this role will:
- Perform the month-end general ledger close processes and oversee and review staff month-end procedures and reconciliations.
- Prepare a reconciliation of funds received from the airline wifi merchant of record line of business and prepare remittances and reports for airline customers.
- Implement and/or maintain technical accounting for revenue recognition and deferred revenue, inventory accounting, payroll accounting, intercompany accounting, and accounting for currency translation gains/losses
- Report financial results at month-end to the parent company using Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
- Train, supervise, and review the work of accounting staff.
- Provide support for audit and tax filings.
- Prepare an internal controls assessment and support the audit of internal controls on an as-needed basis
- Other ad hoc responsibilities as the need arises.
MUST HAVE REQUIREMENTS:
- Have 7-10 years public accounting and/or private company experience, including experience with Technology start-ups
- Be familiar with Accounting Seed and Quickbooks
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Have advance Excel skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- CPA a plus
