A truly exciting time to be joining at this early stage of our digital transformation from a manufacturer and wholesaler to having a direct relationship with our customers, we are looking for an experienced and driven Web Analyst to join the Opening Solutions EMEIA E-Business team. 


What you would do as Web Analyst EMEIA

The purpose of this role is to provide actionable insight that enables optimisation and continuous improvement of the online Customer experience for ASSA ABLOY. 


You will be responsible for producing reports and analysis for the online team using multiple sources; including internal and external data sources and tools such as Google Analytics & BI applications. As well as deriving actionable insight to ensure better understanding of our customers you will help drive innovation and commercial growth. It will also be your role to oversee and implement all Tagging in GA.


Your core responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Analyse data to identify and interpret trends, providing actionable insight, recommendations to influence and support trading and online marketing decisions

  • Analyse customer and visitor user behaviour, conversion data and customer journeys, funnel analysis and multi-channel attribution

  • Develop a true multi-channel understanding of customer and visitor behaviour and lifecycle requirements

  • Analyse ROI to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of marketing campaigns through different channels, including digital acquisition, CRM and social

  • Identify performance issues, providing improvement recommendations

  • Present findings and analysis to colleagues at all levels within the business

  • Ensure correct implementation on new and current analytical projects

  • Implementation of Data layer and management of tagging and campaign tracking

  • Working with the development team to scope out and implement tracking for new features

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues in all areas of the business to enhance reporting and performance measurement, including collaboration with Power BI team to build automated reports & conduct detailed analysis work

  • Be abreast of new analytics software, tools and updates

  • Provide test strategies & hypothesis for A/B & MVT projects

The skills and experience you need

  • Demonstrable experience in web analytics in an ecommerce environment
  • Must have advanced expertise using Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
  • Experience using data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Data Studio etc
  • Experienced in dealing with scoping work, with a keen attention to detail
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills


In addition, we're also looking for excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to translate numerical data and analytical findings into actionable recommendations and meaningful insights to improve Trading performance.


You will be able to analyse data from various sources in an organised and logical manner, then clearly communicate outcome of analysis to non-numerical audiences. To succeed in this role, it is also vital that you can learn quickly and adapt quickly to changing priorties, as well as being a highly driven and results-orientated individual, who thrives on delivering on deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
As our common business language, fluency in spoken and written English is required (additional language skills are a plus). A willingness to travel within the EMEIA region is also required.
