What you would do as our Product Sustainability Specialist EMEIA
As our Product Sustainability Specialist at ASSA ABLOY, you will play a vital role in advancing sustainability across the EMEIA region. Your responsibilities include leading life cycle assessments (LCAs) and developing Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), supporting Science Based Targets initiatives, and collaborating with R&D and sustainability teams to reduce environmental impact and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
You would also:
• Conduct LCAs for key products and services in line with ISO 14040/14044 standards.
• Develop Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for the EMEIA region.
• Support Scope 1, 2, and 3 Science Based Targets (SBTi) initiatives.
• Analyse environmental data and recommend actions to reduce product impact.
• Represent ASSA ABLOY in ECO Platform and industry standardization working groups.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who has:
• A Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field.
• Experience in LCA, consulting, or environmental management.
• Proficiency with LCA tools (GaBi, SimaPro) and LCI databases (Ecoinvent).
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14040/14044 and EN 15804 standards.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills; experience in standardization groups is a plus.
