What you would do as our Internal Communication and Employer Branding Manager
As our Internal Communication and Employer Branding Manager, you will take on a strategic role within the HR Management team, shaping and delivering the internal communications and employer branding strategy across the UKI region. Your mission will be to elevate employee engagement, strengthen the effectiveness of our communications and support the attraction and retention of top talent. Working closely with teams across the business, you will ensure all messaging is aligned, impactful and fully supports the wider HR and organisational priorities.
In this exciting and varied role, you will partner with leaders to deliver communication initiatives, champion continuous improvement and embed best‑practice employer branding. You will ensure all activity reflects Group corporate standards and represent the UKI business within divisional communication forums. A key focus of the role will be to design and implement communication and branding plans for new UKI initiatives, create positive employee experiences across all sites as well as providing day‑to‑day guidance and line management to our Communications Apprentice.
You would also:
• Manage the UKI communications calendar, key campaigns and the annual employee survey including follow‑up engagement activities and cross‑site collaboration.
• Lead Internal Culture & Communications (ICC) forums and create all communications including the weekly newsletter.
• Champion the organisation’s social media presence and deliver LinkedIn training to help enhance colleagues advocacy
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date content on the intranet while coordinating with marketing teams and supporting onboarding for new business acquisitions.
• Plan and deliver charity and community events across the Group, introducing new ways to inspire involvement and strengthen a positive, inclusive culture.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:
• Has proven experience in marketing, internal communications and/or employer branding, ideally within a multi‑site matrix organisation.
• Has exceptional writing, storytelling and editing skills with the ability to turn complex information into clear, engaging messages.
• Has strong stakeholder management capabilities, including advising and influencing senior leaders.
• Has experience using digital communication tools, intranets and design or marketing platforms with a creative and detail‑focused approach to brand governance.
• Has ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meeting deadlines.
