Business Development Manager - Higher Education Accommodation

What would you do as our Buiness Development Manager

As our Business Development Manager will be responsible for the continued growth of the sales revenues by promoting the ASSA ABLOY portfolio of Digital Access Solutions (DAS) products. A key part of the role will be focusing on the identification and development of robust business relationships. In this role you will also work in conjunction with peers targeting the end user sectors of Higher Education accommodation and Multi-Occupancy Developer.

 

You would also:

  • Increase specifications with influencers and end-users for Abloy offering of products and promote as appropriate all complementary ASSA ABLOY product.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and activity information to the Senior Sales Manager on a planned and agreed basis.
  • Understand the requirements of the targeted markets and develop a solutions sales approach tailored to those sectors – in this case higher education accommodation.
  • Work closely with parties within the targeted sectors to identify, qualify, negotiate and close new business deals.
  • Develop current relationships and the corresponding revenue streams for Digital Access Solutions (DAS) within the targeted sectors.

 

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has strong Business Development Experience within access control or similar industry.
  • Has a good understanding of electronic security or building management products and technology solutions in the targeted sectors.
  • Has strong rapport building and communication skills.
  • Is passionate to grown and develop our customer base.
