To strengthen our team, we are looking for an Operations Director Hospitality Germany (f/m/d) with a strong drive. In this position, reporting directly to our Vice President and Head of Europe, we offer you the opportunity to become part of a cooperative corporate culture at our location in Wiesbaden, where you can shape a fulfilling career. Your responsibilities will include leading a team of 40 members with an annual revenue of 13 million euros.

 

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Leading and nurturing the operations team, fostering growth in sales through flawless execution of projects and service contracts.
  • Enhancing and securing the project lifecycle, from order to delivery, including installation and commissioning, while maintaining a high standard of post-sales service.
  • Implementing necessary improvements and cost-saving measures to bolster profitability and efficiency.
  • As an integral member of the German management team, you will craft detailed implementation strategies to achieve both short-term and long-term business goals.
  • Your role includes overall accountability for budgeting, profit and loss, forecasts, and group reporting for operations in Germany. This position is located in Wiesbaden.

     

Your Profil:

  • You bring a minimum of 5 years' experience in overseeing operations teams (comprising project managers, technicians, and sales professionals) within the industrial capital goods and connected equipment/SaaS sectors, particularly in building finishing.
  • With a background in either commercial or technical disciplines, you possess a keen interest in technology and connected solutions, coupled with a strong grasp of technical intricacies.
  • Ideally, you have prior experience in a matrix-based international group.
  • Your rigour and organizational prowess equip you to manage a multitude of projects within a national context, always with a customer-centric approach.
  • You thrive in collaborative environments, boasting exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • You channel your energy and creativity toward your clients and team, propelling critical projects forward with a strategic perspective.
  • Proficiency in both German (C2) and English (C1) enables seamless communication with the local team, stakeholders, and contacts within the Group.
  • You either reside within a one-hour drive of Wiesbaden or are open to relocating.
