Head of Business Development DACH

The role

You'll lead and develop a growing business development and technical team, building the capability, structure and culture needed to support the next phase of growth across the region.

You'll also own business development across the DACH region, driving commercial growth through strategic partnerships with customers, system integrators, resellers and OEM partners. With the backing of ASSA ABLOY, you'll have the autonomy to shape how the business grows and expands its market presence.

What you'll work on

  • Defining and executing the long-term strategy for Traka and KEYper across Germany, Austria and Switzerland
  • Expanding Traka's presence across the DACH region through strategic customer, partner and market development initiatives
  • Building trusted relationships with key customers, system integrators, resellers, distributors and technology partners
  • Leading, coaching and expanding a growing regional team while creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and high performance
  • Working closely with ASSA ABLOY businesses and EMEIA support functions to leverage market opportunities and shared customer relationships
  • Ensuring operational excellence, customer satisfaction and strong financial performance across the region

What will help you succeed

  • Experience within the security industry (such as access control, video surveillance, alarms, software-based security solutions or related technologies)
  • Proven success leading commercial growth in B2B environments, ideally through partner and indirect sales channels
  • Experience managing and developing teams within a growing organisation
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with a hands-on approach to execution and business development
  • Fluency in both German and English, with the flexibility to travel across the DACH region and internationally when required
