Commercial Sales Manager

Amarr, a part of ASSA ABLOY – the global leader in opening solutions, is hiring an experienced sales manager with experience in commercial garage doors to be responsible for growing commercial sales, managing, and supporting commercial national accounts, and supporting e-tool programs, including training, and development.

 

In this position you will:

  1. Become an expert in Amarr commercial products and develop a basic knowledge of Amarr residential products.
  2. Develop and manage commercial account sales via current & new sales channels.
  3. Provide commercial training for customers and employees, including online sales tools.
  4. Provide support for architectural sales.
  5. Coordinate cross-functionally with multiple internal and external groups to meet and exceed CSM Key Performance Metrics.
  6. Communicate and implement pricing changes to customers.
  7. Utilize CRM for customer management, sales reporting, and price changes.
  8. Manage customer warranty requests, including diagnosis of root-cause installation problems that may affect warranty claims.
  9. Read blue-prints, perform take-offs, read product specifications, and assist dealers with product substation documents.
  10. Develop an expert knowledge of Wind- Load, International Building Code, ASHRAE, as they relate to Sectional Overhead Doors.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Three years + of commercial door sales experience in sectional and rolling steel door industry or related field.
  2. Overnight travel up to 7-10 nights per month; must be able to travel to Canada.
  3. Able to lift up to 75 lbs. and on-occasion assist customers within unloading job site deliveries.
  4. Valid driver’s license.
  5. Ability to build both trust and respect with clients and amongst peers.
  6. Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  7. Must reside in defined region.
