What you would do as our Finance Manager Poland

You would report to CFO Central Europe with a dotted line to MD Poland Commercial HW organization the job holder, will provide support in strategy development, business performance management and capital investment evaluation. The job holder will provide analysis of Key Performance Indicators of the Poland Trading units and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations to initiate improvements to support business development.

You would also:

  • Be a true business partner to MD Poland Commercial organization and support the local team and manage financial and IT area in the cooperation with Central Europe Finance and IT Management.
  • Be a local Compliance officer for respective units and prepare the budgets and forecasts in line with the company’s rules and within the deadlines.
  • Oversee short and long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with divisional strategic plans, potential acquisitions and collaborations with other company units.
  • Ensure quality and in-time reporting and analysis of financial and operational trends, provide regular analysis of KPI´s and initiate improvements in management reporting and maintain the integrity of the financial results and balance sheet accounts.
  • To ensure consistency with and fulfilling Group and Divisional internal reporting requirements and make sure the appropriate reconciliation of Balance sheet accounts is done on all accounts for statutory purposes, as well as for Group requirements. 

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has university degree in financial management / accounting and minimum of 10 years broad-based experience with at least 5 years experience in a senior finance role.
  • Has specific experience working with multinational teams in Eastern Europe is desired, same as experience in finance management and controlling in manufacturing companies.
  • Has experience in managing international team, is self-organized, accountable, structured and target driven approach.
  • Has excellent communication and presentation skills, including Power Point, MS Excel and is prepared to travel extensively within the region and occasionally outside of it.
  • Has excellent English and native Czech, Hungarian, Polish or Slovak. Any other East European language is a plus.
