What you would do as our Business Development Specialist

ALCEA - Critical Infrastructure within ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions is expanding the business development team in Poland. We are looking for a Business Development Specialist to have responsibility of business development and sales growth of the ALCEA - Critical Infrastructure business in Poland. The person in this position will work closely with the Head of Business Development Poland and need to collaborate with the relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure vertical solutions development as well as sales growth and profitability. The role will be based in Warsaw, Poland. Business travel in Poland is required. 

You would also:

  • Do overall business development of the Critical Infrastructure business in selected verticals in Poland and implement the strategic goals to drive aggressive sales growth and EBIT levels.
  • Develop and execute the regional growth plans to reach organic growth targets.
  • Working closely with sales personnel as well as key customers to understand their operations, identify opportunities and build a win-win approach to our solutions with the customers and be closely involved in developing new key customers and distribution network.
  • Strongly participate in creating new Critical Infrastructure segments/accounts and developing old ones and building and developing relationships to key market influencers and interest groups.
  • Understand market trends and opportunities to develop initiatives and strategies to take advantage of these trends and drive recurring revenue growth.

 

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has at least Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business or related and has a proven track record of sales and business development within the Professional End User market and System Integrator/Access Control market, with ideally a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
  • Has previous experience of Critical Infrastructure Verticals is desirable and also comprehensive understanding of value-sales process, to build up successful business cases, and ability to translate user information into a compelling investment decision, leading to closing of orders.
  • Understands Technology/Software & Connectivity domains (Digital Access Solutions and beyond) including the benefits of maximum operational efficiency, TCO, data sharing, platforms for services and integrated resource management.
  • Is able to develop and implement commercial strategies, meeting company goals and objectives and has excellent communication and negotiating skills delivered with diplomatic and firm convictions.
  • Is self-motivated and with the ability to plan and organize a demanding workload efficiently and effectively, knowledge of SalesForce and ERP systems is desirable

 

Candidate needs to be fluent in Polish and English, both written and spoken. 

Frequent travelling in Poland in required.
