Purpose of the Job:
As Business Development Manager for Hospitality sector in Poland you will play a key role in driving the growth of Assa Abloy hotel solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to develop new business opportunities, manage the entire sales cycle, and establish strong relationships with key decision-makers in hotels, resorts, and serviced apartments. You will be instrumental in increasing market penetration, ensuring seamless deal execution, and positioning Assa Abloy as a preferred provider of electronic access control solutions for hospitality sector. This role requires a proactive sales professional with a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, a consultative selling approach, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, results-driven environment.
Key responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation
- Identify and engage hotels, resorts, and serviced apartments as potential customers.
- Proactively generate leads and create new business opportunities.
- Develop strategies to strengthen Assa Abloy position in the Polish hospitality market.
Sales Execution & Deal Closing
- Manage the complete sales process, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing.
- Meet or exceed revenue targets by effectively managing the sales pipeline.
- Present tailored solutions to customers, demonstrating the value of Assa Abloy Hotel products.
Market Expansion & Strategic Growth
- Implement sales strategies to increase market share and brand awareness.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales approaches.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align sales initiatives with business objectives.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in the hospitality industry.
- Provide after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them optimize their access control solutions.
Collaboration & Internal Coordination
- Work closely with the local sales support team to ensure smooth deal execution.
- Cooperate with marketing, technical support, and other departments to enhance customer experience.
Reporting & Forecasting
- Maintain accurate sales records, pipeline updates, and market intelligence reports.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and performance updates to the local sales organization.
Candidate Profile & Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience: 3–5 years of sales experience in the hospitality sector, preferably in electronic access control, security solutions, or hotel technology.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding of hotel operations, procurement processes, and decision-making structures.
- Sales Expertise: Proven track record of generating leads, conducting consultative sales, and closing B2B deals.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Polish and English (written and verbal) is required.
