What You'll Do
- Drive Full-Stack LPR Development: Lead and own the full-stack development of SKIDATA's Licence Plate Recognition (LPR) system, transforming it into the best-in-market solution with a strong focus on backend engineering.
- Architect, Design & Implement: Take an active role in the architecture, design, and implementation of the LPR system, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability at every layer.
- Collaborate in an Agile Team: Work closely within an experienced SCRUM team — engage in feature refinement, sprint planning, and story design to continuously deliver value.
- Champion Quality & Test Automation: Design and implement test automation frameworks and drive continuous improvements to the test infrastructure, upholding high standards for performance, security, and reliability.
- Support & Mentor: Be a go-to technical resource — coach and support team members, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (technicians, QA, product owners, and partners), and share your expertise across teams.
- Shape the Future: Actively contribute to digital and agile transformation initiatives, stay current with emerging technologies, and bring fresh ideas that improve both the product and engineering productivity.
What You Bring
- University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in software development
- Deep expertise in Microsoft technologies: Visual Studio .NET and C#
- Strong knowledge of web development frameworks, particularly Angular
- Experience with message-broker software such as RabbitMQ
- Proficiency with relational databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server
- In-depth knowledge of the Windows operating system
- Proficiency in agile software development processes (SCRUM)
- Fluent English (written and spoken); knowledge of German is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, a solution-oriented mindset, and a strong drive for results

We offer a competitive salary based on your qualifications and professional experience. The minimum salary for this position according to the collective agreement is EUR 2,535.00 gross per month on a full-time basis. Of course, your actual salary will be adjusted in line with the market based on your qualifications.
