Job Summary

 

We are currently seeking a Regional Sales Representative, Integrated Solutions (IS) dedicated to support our Security Integrator customers and our ASSA ABLOY Electronic Access Control OEM partners, in the Central and Western Ontario Canada sales regions.

 

The Regional Sales Representative, Integrated Solutions focuses on growing ASSA ABLOY's Electromechanical and Access Control Products business in Central Ontario. They build relationships with security system integrators, consultants, hardware distributors, wholesalers, access control manufacturers, and end users.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Primarily call on, train, educate, support and build an ASSA ABLOY sales strategy with our targeted security integrators as well as access control OEM customers who utilize and/or buy and sell electronic access control systems, products and programs in Central Canada in a meaningful, differentiated way.
  • Set a clear market strategy to grow sales of ASSA ABLOY products and services through the Security Integrator Channel and Access Control OEM partners representing selected ASSA ABLOY group companies and products with focus on all electro-mechanical offerings.
  • Provide security system integrators, access control OEM partners, security consultants, electrical engineers, architects and end users with technical sales and marketing support, sales training, pricing information, new product data & product enhancements and project quotations.
  • Build a sales channel process to access more verticals through our partnerships with access control.
  • Conduct joint end user site surveys, job walks, takeoffs, etc., with security system integrators and other channel partners to enhance the sale of ASSA ABLOY product solutions.
  • Provide and manage the Integrated sales funnel monthly report and support sales forecast team.
  • Perform other duties as required.

 

Education and Experience

 

  • University or College degree in business or similar field
  • 5+ years of experience selling technology solutions to end users of access control system technologies
  • 5+ years of practical sales and applications experience in the integration of security systems including electronic access control, CCTV, electro-mechanical devices and related products
  • Demonstrated experience of consultative-selling techniques to major decision makers at all channel and target customer levels.
  • Experience using SalesForce

 

Key Competencies

 

  • Familiar with architectural and mechanical drawings
  • Ability to read and comprehend wiring diagrams
  • Possess strong business acumen and technical aptitude
  • Must have presentation experience in training individuals and groups using Power Point or other tools
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
  • Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Demonstrated track record of working under minimal direct supervision

 

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

 

  • Ability to travel in within the assigned territory up to 80% of the time
  • Ability to travel across Canada and occasionally into the U.S. 
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs of sample and display material for sale presentations.
  • A valid driving record in good standing
