Mul-T-Lock also provides its solutions to many OEM and large organizations.

We are seeking an Assembler / Production Worker to be based in our Vaughan, Ontario location.

Job Summary

As an Assembler / Production Worker you will prepare and process work orders to finished product as required on the pick slip to ensure 100% quality and quick delivery to meet customer demands and expectations.  You will also assist in the Warehouse and Distribution areas.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Operate in machine and/or assembly cells to attain superior product quality, on time delivery, and continually improve productivity to exceed entitlement.
• Pin, assemble and build locks, change tailpieces, cams, cores and plugs.
• Cut and stamp keys including code as required
• Maintain machines
• Participate in team meetings to improve teams performance, solve problems, and improve safety
• Train team members on job tasks in product centers and support areas
• Complete forms as required for part requests
• Monitor and meet product orders as scheduled
• Troubleshoot and report quality issues
• Assist in Shipping and Distribution
• Perform any additional duties required to ensure smooth operation of product center and support areas       

Your Education and Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of small parts assembly experience is preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Small parts & assembly experience

Your Key Competencies

• Excellent manual dexterity
• Mechanically inclined
• Basic math skills essential -  high school graduate or equivalent preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Must be able to work in a team environment with good communication skills
• Attention to detail

Working Conditions

• Must be mobile to move from one workstation to another and lift 40 pounds
• Steel toe shoes required

Hourly range:  $25 to $29 per hour
