Job Summary

  

We are searching for a dynamic and strategic Marketing Manager to lead our marketing initiatives and drive brand growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing and campaign management. This role involves developing and executing marketing strategies, overseeing content creation, managing budgets, and analyzing performance metrics to optimize results.

Key Responsibilities

 

Drive all aspects of the marketing and communications programs for ABLOY Canada Inc., and the brands it represents.

  • Develop annual tactical marketing plan in conjunction with Product Management, Sales Management,

and Abloy International Marketing team to meet our business objectives.

  • Develop tools to measure ROI, analyze marketing metrics and KPIs to assess campaign effectiveness and make informed recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in establishing managing the annual marketing budget and drive alignment of funds to key business initiatives making sure budget targets are met.
  • Manage & support Distribution Incentive program to maximize its utilization.
  • In conjunction with product category specialists plan and drive all new product launches, including working with colleagues in operations, customer service and order entry, finance, and sales to ensure all requirements for a           product launch are taken into consideration.
  • Coordinate with distribution and dealer teams to implement targeted marketing strategies
  • Participate as key stakeholders in establishing and utilizing the new product and new brand launch process so product/brands are launched on time and on budget; maintaining the new product launch calendar with key deadlines  and communicate issues or opportunities with senior management.
  • Develop a digital launch strategy to reduce costs and speed up the process.
  • Lead the creation of channel specific programs and tactics aimed at growing sales and increasing customer satisfaction with the company and our brands.
  • With the input of the Regional Sales Managers, define needs of the primary established sales channels and new targeted verticals into yearly vertical strategy plan related to Demand Creation.
  • Develop and maintain a suite of templated appropriate marketing vehicles and tactics that can be easily applied to the various sales channels by internal or external parties.
  • Develop and manage customer display programs reducing costs of current activities and materials.
  • Accountable for the digital transformation strategy in Canada, including development of processes in marketing automation, CRM, online presence, and e-business areas.
  • Enhance the digital presence of the company and develop actionable demand generation activities.
  • Maximize the ease of use and content quality of the ABLOY.CA website.
  • Set clear guidelines content strategy for our established social media platforms and train sales teams with their individual social media activities.
  • Build and maintain the digital resources library.
  • Increasing digital marketing leads and feed leads into our CRM
  • Close collaboration with the Marketing and Product Marketing teams operating out of Finland.

 

Your Education and Experience

 

  

  • College Diploma in Business Administration and or Marketing
  • University degree or bachelor’s degree in one of the related fields, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Advertising & or Economics
  • 7+ years of marketing and communications experience, which includes a blend of product marketing, channel marketing and driving digital strategy.
  • Experience within the following area’s of, door/lock industry, CCTV, integration of security systems, SaaS, electronic access control software/hardware, to support electro-mechanical devices and related security products.
  • Strong project management skills – ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build solid internal and external relationships over the long term.
  • Problem-solving skills – manage through use of facts.
  • Strong analytical skills – data driven decision making.
  • Creativity and outside the box thinking are a must.

 

 

Your Key Competencies

 

 

  • Experience in managing CMS platforms and editing website content (Adobe Experience Manager skills considered an asset)
  • Experience working with CRM systems (Dynamics 365 skills considered an asset)
  • Basic knowledge of marketing automation and Google tools (Analytics, Search Console, Looker Studio, Ads)
  • Experience in social media management, reporting across various marketing tools, and readiness to adopt new marketing technologies
  • Product bulletins & Print Media program
  • Create Video Content for training and marketing purposes.
  • Special Event Planning and Execution and support for the sales regions
  • Industry Trade Show Execution
  • Manage activities with vendors, advertising, and PR agencies in accordance with our brand and corporate strategies.
  • Liaise and consult with non-direct reports such as product category specialists to develop tactic ensuring accuracy and relevancy of marketing vehicles and content.
  • Highly effective communication skills (oral, written & presentation).
  • Experienced surrounding IT/Hardware sales within a competitive landscape along with customer procurement processes in all verticals.
  • Developing, sourcing, and managing a regional network which also entails end-users & distribution.
  • Experience with managing Channel Partners and direct sales responsibilities.
  • Computer skills including word, excel, power-point and CRM tools.
  • Fluently bilingual (English/French) in both written and verbal

 

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

 

 

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs of sample and display material for sales presentations.
  • Occasional travel to the United States for trade shows, and visits to the factory in Finland, (Training & trade shows)
