Maltex, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Driver. This will be an on-site position based out of our manufacturing facility located in Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, Mexico.

What would you do as our Driver?

You will support the business through the safe transportation of people, materials, and documents while assisting with warehouse and logistics activities. Your work will directly contribute to operational efficiency, customer service, and workplace safety.

 

 

You would also:

  • Safely operate company vehicles while complying with all traffic laws and regulations
  • Complete scheduled pickup and delivery routes for materials, products, and documents
  • Transport employees, visitors, and other company guests to designated locations as needed
  • Support company errands and document processing with government agencies and external organizations
  • Assist with loading, unloading, storing, and organizing materials and inventory
  • Pick, pack, scan, and deliver raw materials to support production operations
  • Assist with inventory control activities, warehouse organization, and operational reporting
  • Inspect vehicles regularly and promptly report maintenance or mechanical concerns
  • Maintain assigned vehicles in a clean, safe, and professional condition
  • Protect company personnel, equipment, materials, and assets during transportation activities
  • Follow all company safety, health, environmental, and operational policies
  • Actively contribute to a safe and positive work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

  

The Skills and Experience You Need:

  • Technical degree or equivalent preferred
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience
  • Basic automotive mechanical knowledge
  • Experience using navigation tools such as Google Maps, Waze, or similar applications
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to lift and move moderately heavy materials
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • AS400 experience is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to safety, reliability, and compliance with company procedures
