Shutter Lead
Overview:
Shutter Lead will work under the supervision of the Production Supervisor. Daily task will include:
- Completing operations by daily planning, monitoring schedules, assigning tasks, monitoring work, and implementing productivity standards to ensure timely completion of production goals.
- Providing guidance, support, and training to production team members by fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Leading daily morning meetings to communicate daily tasks and goals.
- Implementing and enforcing all of Diamond Doors policies and procedures.
- Maintaining open communication with production team members, supervisors, and other departments throughout the workday.
- Working alongside Quality to help inspect products for defects, identify and resolve quality issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Opening and closing the building at the beginning and end of the workday.
- Working with purchasing to maintain adequate inventory levels.
- Helping with scheduling of PTO and tracking attendance.
- Communicating any issues with employees and helping to resolve any issues that may arise throughout the workday.
- Helping to maintain and enforce a clean, safe, and healthy work environment.
- Collecting production data and generating reports as needed.
Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and techniques.
- Must possess an outstanding attendance record.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills.
- Adaptability and readiness to assist in all operations.
- Basic understanding of Google Sheets and Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be able to work overtime, sometimes with little notice.
- Ability to maintain an optimistic attitude and lead by example.
