Training Implementation Specialist

     

 

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Learning and Development Trainer.  The Learning and Development Trainer  leads and implements commercial training strategy across the product portfolio, partnering closely with Product Management, Sales Leadership, and Marketing to support new product launches, ongoing portfolio education, and national sales initiatives. Brings territory sales and/or project management experience to drive structured execution, field readiness, and measurable adoption. Serves as a cross-functional contributor in new product development, launch readiness, and trade show execution.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Manage and implement e-learning programs through the LMS platform
  • Design and deliver classroom and virtual instructor-led training programs
  • Partner with Product Management to develop launch training plans, sales playbooks, competitive tools, and portfolio-specific materials
  • Represent Marketing and Training as a cross-functional team member in new product development projects
  • Lead structured launch readiness initiatives including timelines, stakeholder coordination, and adoption tracking
  • Leverage territory sales experience to develop practical, field-ready training content
  • Support onboarding and ongoing development of Territory Managers
  • Manage training project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • Review and monitor product training schedules including travel, logistics, and sales assignments
  • Maintain training department budget tracking and cost reporting
  • Maintain marketing and training materials inventory levels
  • Conduct New Hire Orientation and expand scalable digital offerings
  • Manage training inbox and qualify incoming training requests
  • Support planning and execution of National Sales Meetings
  • Prepare product messaging and conduct readiness sessions for trade shows and corporate events
  • Provide on-site trade show support including product demonstrations and competitive insight gathering 
  • Conduct research and implement tools that improve or streamline training effectiveness
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop training-related blogs and internal communications

 

The skills and experience you need:

Education: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience required

Experience:

  • Territory Sales, Project Management, Commercial Training, or related roles
  • Demonstrated experience supporting product launches
  • Experience collaborating closely with Product Management on new product launches and development of training materials to support each Product Manager’s portfolio
  • Learning Management Systems (Cornerstone on Demand or similar)
  • Articulate 360 or similar eLearning authoring tools
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Digital forms and workflow tools
  • Trade show preparation and on-site support experience
