Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a CPI Project Manager to lead and coordinate CPI engineering projects & activities.  This position will also evaluate and resolve the technical feasibility, design optimization and production flow of products in the manufacturing plant. 

 

What you will be doing:

 

  • Responsible for proposing cost savings projects and delivering annual cost savings target
  • Evaluate new and existing suppliers for all purchases assigned
  • Responsible for identifying process improvements within procurement
  • Responsible for recommending alternatives to products specified by Engineering and sales.
  • Responsible for analyzing costs for purchased products
  • Assemble facts and data in order to make an informed decision on issues related to pricing, delivery, and quality.
  • Responsible for processing daily purchase orders, follow up on confirmations and late material deliveries
  • Responsible for tracking quality issues related to suppliers and managing corrective actions

 

 

The skills and experience you need:

 

  • Bachelor Degree Preferred – Preferably Supply Chain Management, Business, Accounting, or Engineering
  • Procurement experience directly related to sourcing and purchase order management preferred
  • Experience with Raw Materials and manufacturing related sourcing, preferred
  • Experience in managing supplier performance objectives (quality, price, delivery)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills required
  • Strong organizational skills required
  • Analytical and problem solving skills required
  • Strong Excel skills required
