Paralegal

 

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Paralegal.  This position will be responsible for providing high-quality paralegal and administrative support across multiple legal practice areas to ensure effective operations and alignment with company goals.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Preparing legal documents such as contracts (Distributor, Supply, Vendor Agreements), correspondence, memos, charts, and timelines.
  • Establishing, organizing, and maintaining department files, calendars, deadlines, and task lists to support ongoing legal matters.
  • Conducting investigations, research, and analysis related to legal claims and other matters.
  • Assisting executive leadership and their respective departments with training, compliance initiatives, and related documentation to support organizational requirements.
  • Acting as a liaison with internal departments to facilitate communication and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Communicating with outside counsel and consultants to support case management and monitor progress on complex matters.
  • Utilizing Legal Practice Management Software to track documents, deadlines, and workflows.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned to support departmental needs.

 

The skills and experience you need:

  • High school or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2-year degree required.
    • 4-year degree preferred.
  • Paralegal certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of paralegal experience (or equivalent training).
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and court procedures.
  • Experience with legal research, contract review, and/or corporate legal training.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
