Material Handler

 

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for an Material Handler.  This position will be responsible for safety carrying out the work assignments received from the Production Lead or Supervisor.  This will be a 1st shift position. 

 

What you will be doing:

 

  • Maintain clean, safe, organized material storage areas.
  • Maintain equipment by planning and carrying out PM’s as prescribed by documented procedure and by creating documented procedure for PM’s wherever needed.
  • Produce product of exceptional quality by implementing QA approach to meeting company production objectives.
  • Maintain clean work environment.
  • Monitor equipment.
  • Plan daily tasks geared toward a productive day.
  • Communicate changes or issues with the Operator.
  • Review materials needs daily and notify Lead of materials needed.
  • Report any safety violations or concerns to the Production Operator or Lead.

 

 

The skills and experience you need:

 

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED.

Experience:

  • Two - Two years of experience in a position of similar responsibility in manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety, quality and workflow needs.

Other:

  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Ability to think and react quickly to changing situations and adjust to changing priorities.
  • Ability to be a contributing and collaborative team member.

 

This role is located in Tulsa, OK.
