Market Developer



Market Developer - Remote, must reside in Central or South Florida

What you would do as our Market Developer

Aggressively contact fence contractors, architects, engineers, specifiers, end-users, and distributors to create deep relationships with those customers to represent and grow the sales of Ameristar Perimeter Security in South-Central Florida geographic territory.

You would also:

  • Average 4-6 daily “face to face” sales calls
  • As many phone calls as is required per day to follow up on projects, and keep a schedule in Outlook for the next month’s activities
  • Establish deep relationships with customers within assigned territory.
  • Utilize the CRM Software to log notes of conversations that bring value to Ameristar and /or the customer
  • Build and maintain solid working relationship with inside sales team (ARM, PM, TS)
  • Continually update customer profiles within CRM Software
  • Understand each customers business model and geographical coverage


The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred. Degree requirement may be waived in lieu of fence or construction related experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in sales experience preferably in construction related fields.
  • Experience in Construction preferred.
  • Experience in Manufacturing preferred.
  • Formal sales training
