Regional Distribution Channel Manager

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Regional Distribution Channel Manager.  This position will oversee all activities with BSPS’s distribution channel partners within the assigned geography and provide sales and logistical support for the portfolio product offerings of all BSPS organizations.  (Primary focus is Ameristar & Jerith)

What you will be doing:

  • The Regional Distribution Channel Manager will provide the following services to the channel partners, including but not limited to the following:
    • Product, process and sales training (Steel & Aluminum)
    • Be a partner with the Ameristar Training Team for partner and contractor training sessions in Tulsa OK as is needed
    • Pro-actively add non-participating branches to the Ameristar / Jerith customer portfolio through strategic selling and marketing initiatives in alignment with the appropriate internal departments
    • Negotiate pricing where applicable in conjunction with the Regional Sales Director and Sales Vice President standards and procedures
    • Perform joint sales calls with local Market Developers, Distribution Partner sales personnel and or contractors as required to achieve the desired results
  • Provide excellent customer support and drive sales through our distribution channel to achieve annual sales and profit plans
  • Perform all administrative and analytics duties of the Regional Distribution Channel Manager position as required

 

The skills and experience you need:

  • The candidate must have 2+ years of successful outside sales experience at BSPS or relevant successful outside sales experience.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Ability to travel 50%+
  • Possess a driving record in alignment with required Assa driving standards
  • Have in-depth, proven knowledge of all Ameristar & Jerith products, applications, pricing and specification requirements
