Your Role in Keeping the Future in Safe Hands…

 

We are seeking a Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service. In this role, you will be responsible for interacting with clients via phone and email to resolve technical issues related to web hosting. This person should be able to communicate well in language that a non-technically skilled individual will be able to understand while still having a depth of understanding where they could communicate an issue or other need in technical terms to a developer or other technician who may need to process a solution.

 

What you will do…

 

  • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.

 

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients experiencing technical issues with web hosting services.

 

  • Interact with our support ticketing system to manage, track, and resolve client inquiries in a timely manner.

 

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in web hosting and technical support.

 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to web hosting, including but not limited to DNS settings, server configurations, and email setup.

 

  • Assist clients by making updates to sites based on their requests, which may involve basic JavaScript, HTML, and CSS modifications, providing guidance and support as needed.

 

What we expect of you…

 

  • 1+ years of experience in a technical support role.

 

  • Comfortable with the basics of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

 

  • Basic understanding of code repository interaction (e.g., Git).

 

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

 

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

 

  • Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
