(M/F)

 

The Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for supporting the Record to Report (R2R) process, ensuring accurate financial accounting and timely closing activities, while also overseeing tax-related accounting and compliance obligations. work closely with internal finance teams and external advisors to ensure financial integrity, compliance with accounting standards, and alignment between accounting records and tax requirements.

 

RESPONSABILITIES

  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial data.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, including accruals, provisions, and reclassifications.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate reconciling items.
  • Perform management accounting and analytical accounting activities, including cost allocations, cost center analysis, and profitability analysis.
  • Prepare and support the submission of tax returns and tax-related filings in collaboration with internal teams and external advisors.
  • Provide documentation and explanations for internal and external audits, including tax authorities when applicable.
  • Monitor and analyze variances in accounting and tax balances and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and regulatory requirements.

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Academy requirement

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Proven experience in financial accounting or General Ledger, preferably in a multinational environment
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial closing processes
  • Experience with tax compliance or tax accounting
  • Experience with ERP systems in an industrial environment
  • Experience with management accounting or analytical accounting (cost centers, cost allocations)

Languages:

  • Fluent in English.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in an international environment.
