The Product Manager Aluminum Hardware will identify customer needs and more prominent business objectives. Propose and promote product ranges to the commercial network and customers, according to the identification made by the Market Manager or directly of commercial projects, to increase the sales of said products.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
  • Propose new products and solutions to satisfy the needs of the market and customers.
  • Creating buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
  • Developing product pricing and positioning strategies.
  • Translating product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes.
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources.
  • Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members.
  • Prepare and coordinate all the tasks of launching new products to achieve their introduction quickly and efficiently on the market
  • Evaluate promotional plans to ensure that they are consistent with product line strategy and that the message is effectively conveyed.
  • Promote the development plan of the product to guarantee its IP protection.
  • Promote the range of products to the commercial network and clients to achieve an increase in orders.
  • Train the commercial network, distributors, and end users in the range of products so that they know their characteristics, features and/or applications.
  • Provide technical advice and accompany the commercial area staff on visits to customers related to product issues to obtain more information on the current or future needs of said customers or markets.
  • Manage the catalog of finished product references, proposing to the operations area the opening of new product references, to achieve the introduction of new customer orders and defining the products that must be replaced to optimize the number of references live in catalog and range rationalization.
  • Carry out technological surveillance tasks by monitoring the competition's products and market trends, with the proposal of innovative products.
  • Carry out both the follow-up and the prioritization of the deadlines of the projects of the new products / services to guarantee that the launch is carried out successfully.
  • Prepare the annual marketing plan for each product range to guarantee their correct marketing.
  • Any other necessary additional function in direct relation to the job itself.

 

 

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Academy requirement

  • Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering or similar preferred

Languages:

  • Fluent in Portuguese and English.

Experience:

  • Proven work experience in product management or as an associate product manager
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and English
  • Experience in Aluminum Solutions preferred..
