Our business unit

The Business Unit Normstahl Crawford within SDC serves the indirect sales channel. Product range includes industrial sectional doors, roller doors, door and gate automation products, docking equipment and the core competence residential garage doors incl. accessories. 

Modern residential garage doors can be rolled, turned, pulled or folded – and our product range has grown a lot over the years. We offer a wide range of models in various colours and finishes that can be equipped with smart technology and accessories.

 

Role summary

As a Technical Sales Support Specialist in the product area of Residential Garage Doors you will play a key role in providing support to our customers and to the sales team, helping to ensure smooth delivery of technical solutions and full market utilization of our products. This position requires an ability to balance proactive customer support with technical know-how. You will interact with customers (B2B) and various internal stakeholders, manage customer relations and provide technical guidance through phone, email, and in-person training. This full-time position reports to the Country Manager Nordics. 

 

Your main responsibilities

  • Identify customer needs, recommend technical solutions, and effectively communicate product functionalities to customers.
  • Prepare detailed proposals, quotes, and reports, ensuring technical and commercial accuracy.
  • Provide after-sales technical support, resolve product-related issues, and address customer inquiries professionally.
  • Conduct market research to track industry trends, identify new opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives and other teams to ensure seamless execution of sales processes and accurate delivery of technical information.
  • Travel to meet clients, conduct product demonstrations, and represent the company at industry events.
  • Maintain customer records and CRM systems, ensuring all technical and sales interactions are documented for continuous improvement.

 

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or equivalent experience; technical or sales certifications are a plus.
  • 3–5 years of experience in technical sales or sales support roles, ideally in the industrial or garage door sector.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and other sales-related software.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and verbal. Other Scandinavian languages are a plus
  • Valid European driving licence.
