As we continue to scale our production and innovation capabilities, we are looking for a skilled QHSE Manager who will help safeguard our quality standards and ensure a safe, compliant, and future‑proof workplace.
Role Overview
The QHSE Manager is responsible for leading and continuously improving our Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental systems. Because we operate a high‑precision production environment, the primary focus is on Quality Management. The secondary focus is Health, Safety, and Environment, including the implementation, updating, and monitoring of mandatory CAO‑related safety requirements and compliance with the Risk Inventory & Evaluation (RI&E).
You will work closely with production, engineering, R&D, and leadership teams to support our high-tech manufacturing processes and ensure our commitment to innovation is matched by our commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001 and high‑tech industry requirements
- Oversee quality processes in our precision production environment, ensuring product reliability and repeatability
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions using structured problem‑solving methods (Lean, 5S)
- Coordinate and support internal, customer, and supplier audits and certifications
- Manage quality documentation, product specifications, and process controls
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that support innovation and production efficiency
- Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, procedures, and reporting standards (KPI’s)
- Maintain and update the Risk Inventory & Evaluation (RI\&E) in accordance with Dutch legislation
- Develop, implement, and update safety programs, workplace instructions, and preventive measures
- Conduct incident investigations, risk assessments, and workplace inspections
- Promote a strong safety culture, focusing on preventing injuries, minimizing environmental impact, and supporting employee wellbeing
- Ensure compliance with environmental standards, waste management regulations, and chemical handling requirements
Skills & Experience you need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in: Technische bedrijfskunde, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering)
- 3–5+ years experience in a QHSE role within a production, manufacturing, high-tech or industrial environment
- Preferably MVK/HVK or relevant safety certifications
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Experience and knowledge of RI&E processes and Dutch HSE requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical, proactive, detail‑oriented, problem-solving abilities with havening a hands-on attitude and a strong communication mindset
- Excellent organisation and communication skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively in order to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in both Dutch and English, both written and spoken
- Must have own transportation and living within a reachable distance from Tilburg
