Kinetron BV, an ASSA ABLOY company, is an international high-tech innovative organization located in Tilburg. We specialize in researching, developing, manufacturing, and assembling customer-specific energy harvesting modules and products. Our expertise includes energy harvesting technologies such as induction, solar, NFC, ambient, low-power (IoT) electronics, micro mechanisms, motors, and actuators. What would you do as our Project Leader?

As our Project Leader you will plan and coordinate multidisciplinary product development projects, which include a complex mechanics, electronics and firmware. You will report directly to the R&D Manager.

You would also be responsible for:

• Managing projects from initial client contact to product delivery, including product (conceptual) development and design, prototyping, testing, supplier coordination, parts sourcing, production line setup, and process development.

• Leading and managing project teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all stakeholders.
• Developing detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
• Monitoring project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical, electronic, and firmware components.

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who has:

• Proven experience in project management, specifically in mechanical product development with integrated electronics and firmware.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in using Jira for project tracking and Confluence for documentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
• Must have own transportation within a reachable distance from Tilburg.
