Kinetron BV, an ASSA ABLOY company, is an international high-tech innovative organization located in Tilburg. We specialize in researching, developing, manufacturing, and assembling customer-specific energy harvesting modules and products. What would you do as our Project Leader?
As our Project Leader you will plan and coordinate multidisciplinary product development projects, which include a complex mechanics, electronics and firmware. You will report directly to the R&D Manager.
You would also be responsible for:
- Managing projects from initial client contact to product delivery, including product (conceptual) development and design, prototyping, testing, supplier coordination, parts sourcing, production line setup, and process development.
- Leading and managing project teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all stakeholders.
- Developing detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Monitoring project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical, electronic, and firmware components.
The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who has:
- Proven experience in project management, specifically in mechanical product development with integrated electronics and firmware.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in using Jira for project tracking and Confluence for documentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
- Must have own transportation within a reachable distance from Tilburg.
