Small Parts Supervisor
The Production Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the activities of personnel involved in production tasks, managing resources and time to meet the requirements for each of the company's metrics.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring that personnel have and use the appropriate safety equipment, as well as maintaining its correct use.
- Comply with and enforce plant safety regulations.
- Coordinate and execute actions aimed at meeting plant goals.
- Must analyze and coordinate actions to resolve work problems.
- Must evaluate, record, recommend, and/or initiate actions, such as promotions and disciplinary measures for personnel under their charge.
- Must coordinate and/or execute cross-training of different operations.
- Must maintain all necessary records for management of production times. • Must coordinate and ensure that their work areas are kept orderly, clean, and functional.
- Ensure that a record and control of the maintenance of the tools in their areas is kept.
- Maintain good communication with the personnel in their charge.
- Promote communication between both shifts.
- Implement and supervise the start and end of work according to established schedules
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of staff supervision
- Preferably experience in the metalworking industry
- Office suite management
- TRESS system
- Bachelor’s degree: Industrial Engineering or similar
- English metric system
- Knowledge of the LFT for the application of disciplinary measures
