Territory Manager

 

Job Summary

Responsible for driving the promotion and sales of Pfister Faucet products in showrooms across core markets, including Oregon, Washington, Alaska, and Montana.

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • 50% of your time to directly supporting plumbing showrooms by managing an efficient sales cycle, delivering comprehensive training to showroom associates, and partnering with showroom management to identify and maximize product and display opportunities.
  • 25% of your time engaging with outside builder teams by generating project opportunities through the showroom channel and fostering strong relationships with builder teams, their inside sales staff, and key customers.
  • 25% focused on enhancing brand recognition within the assigned markets by engaging with designers and custom home builders.

 

Activities may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Conduct special events involving Pfister.
  • Manage market co-op funds to ensure activities are directly related to the increasing sales, brand awareness and fostering relationships.
  • Engage the Designer & Architect community to promote Pfister and increase awareness.
  • Assist with training of other Territory Account Managers or other employees as requested.
  • Supporting the sales needs of Showroom Consultants, Outside Sales Associates, Designers and Builders.
  • Develop and Manage SG&A budget for your market.
  • Assist corporate departments with product evaluation, marketing plans, etc. as requested.
  • Maintaining a regular and timely call cycle for each customer within the territory.
  • Plans, prepares and conducts sales presentations regarding new products, line expansions, and opportunities for additional product placement.
  • Assist in working trade shows, regional sales meetings, and other meetings as requested by management.

 

Education and Experience Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with a strong ability to confidently present to groups.
  • 3+ years of consultative sales experience, including working with wholesalers and showrooms.
  • Self-motivated
  • Experience in a plumbing wholesale distribution sales model.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, supported by a sound understanding of financial principles.
  • Computer literacy and experience in MS Word & Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Solid technical aptitude, with experience in the plumbing industry considered a plus.

 

Work Environment:

  • 50%-60% Travel Required.
  • The position is home-office based, with a strong emphasis on field work, generally four days per week.
