Summary
The Director of Sales, APAC, plays the central role in orchestrating the region’s sales performance and driving the team toward ambitious goals. He or she creates and nurtures a high-performance sales team and leads the team to hit financial targets and maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction. The main objective of this position is to drive the FARGO brand forward, meeting revenue targets by contributing to and leading the team, driving sales force productivity, and empowering team members to consistently perform at their highest level.
As our Director of Sales, FARGO, APAC, you’ll support HID’s success by:
- Achieve objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analyzing data on past performance, and projecting future performance.
- Successfully manage existing accounts while developing new relationships with channel partners and end users.
- Provide on time and up-to-date reports, statistics and forecasts every month, utilizing Salesforce CRM.
- Secure business in current markets while increasing business in new markets.
- Improve the pipeline quality and conversion rate.
- Provide clear and definitive leadership and vision for the sales team, motivating and advising them to enhance performance.
- Coach the team to sell on value and the power of solutions.
- Ensure the team works across the business with other Sales teams within HID and ASSA ABLOY.
- Represent the company at trade shows and exhibitions.
- Recommend improvements and process efficiencies.
Your Experience and Background include:
- University degree in business, marketing or related fields (or equivalent experience).
- Successful previous experience as a sales manager consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
- Knowledge and market success in the secure identity industry.
- A minimum of 8 years of industry-related experience required, preferably in channel sales management and business development.
- Prior leadership experience providing coaching and guidance to commercial teams.
- Experience leading Sales teams across diverse APAC cultures.
- Demonstrable success selling through channel partners in APAC.
- Proven ability to drive sales processes from plan to close, think strategically, synthesize business and financial data, and develop innovative solutions.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and leadership capabilities.
- Flexible, highly motivated, proactive, and autonomous.
- Focused on customer needs and satisfaction to create added value.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization and externally.
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
Language Skills:
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Other Asian languages are a major benefit.
Computer Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Awareness and exposure to AI tools for analytics and productivity.

Work Requirements

- Travel and fieldwork, including international travel may be required. Therefore, employee must possess, or be able to acquire a valid passport.
