Reporting To: Traditional Trade Manager
Location: Thailand
Position Summary
The Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth within the traditional trade channel by acquiring and maintaining strong relationships with dealers. This role involves managing assigned sales areas, providing product and service solutions, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive support and after-sales service.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase market penetration within the Traditional Trade channel
- Expand the dealer network and ensure sustainable growth through consistent engagement and follow-up
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key dealers and wholesalers
- Provide consultative selling by understanding customer needs and recommending appropriate product solutions
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly and ensure a high level of satisfaction
- Monitor customer account performance and follow up on payment collections as per company policy
- Execute trade marketing activities, in-store promotions and merchandising programs to enhance product visibility
- Ensure product availability, pricing compliance and display standards in all assigned outlets
- Conduct regular market visits to assess competitiveness, collect market intelligence and identify growth opportunities
- Collaborate with distributors and trade partners to align on sales and distribution strategies
- Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts and market analysis for management review.
- Coordinate with internal departments (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance) to ensure smooth operations and timely customer service
- Participate in monthly sales meetings and contribute to strategic planning discussions
- Represent the company in trade events, dealer meetings, and other business functions as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related discipline
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in dealer sales, preferably within the hardware or construction material industry
- Proven track record in Traditional Trade sales and account management
- Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated, results-oriented and able to work independently under minimal supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Positive attitude with a strong service-minded approach
- Possess a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively across assigned territories.
