National Sales Manager - Retail
Position Summary:
In this position, you will take the overall leadership for ASSA ABLOY Thailand’s retail sales including modern retail key accounts as well as traditional trade and big box accounts. You will be responsible to take our leading portfolio of brands and products to the next level via continuing our journey to create a structured and professional account management. Additionally, you will be the key person to together with the product and marketing team define the future product needs and growth journey of ASSA ABLOY Thailand retail sales.
You will be a key member of the ASSA ABLOY Thailand management team, work closely with the general manager to define the future strategies within retail sales and get great exposure to key regional (South East Asia) counterparties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the modern retail and traditional retail P&L which constitute a key part of ASSA ABLOY Thailand
- Be an engaging people manager for a modern trade team of 5 people and a traditional trade team of 7 people
- Drive a structured and high performing account management to key accounts across the two channels
- Create a culture of continuous improvements and regularly feedback on key product opportunities within retail as well as liaise with the supply chain team to optimize our inventory management
- Optimize and drive retail sales excellence via our team of promoters across key branches throughout Thailand
Requirements:
- Master or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Marketing or any related fields.
- 7-10 years’ experience from working with retail sales, preferably from a related industry, whereby a few years as a people manager and leader
- Proven ability to engage, create and manage high performing sales teams
- Analytical mindset which manage to consider both sales and profitability impact
- High passion individual
- Experience from door hardware products is a plus but not a necessity
- Fluent in English (Chinese is a plus)
